On july 24, Google announced Android 4.3, the last Jellybean update before heading to Android 5.0, 24 hours later Sony came out with a statement letting customers know a thing or two about future upgrades.
Meanwhile, Sony Mobile has started pushing out Android 4.2.2 to Xperia Z. Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR and now to Sony Xperia Tablet Z LTE (SGP321) version (no update yet for the WiFi models), all getting the same firmware build number 10.3.1.A.0.244.
The latest software update distributed to the Xperia Tablet Z comes with a few UI (user interface) changes: like the notification bar has been moved to the top and centered the virtual (on-screen) buttons. Xperia Tablet Z users will also find a pull-down quick settings feature, “borrowed” from Xperia smartphone series, and there’s probably more that we arent aware of at the moment.
If you’ve got the lastest build and found other changes, please do let everybody know in the comments below.
