Last month Acer introduced on the market its newest phablet — Acer Liquid S1, an Android device that features a large 5.7 inch 720p HD screen, it has dual SIM capabilities, comes equipped with a MediaTek MT6589T 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8 megapixels camera on the back, 2MP in front, stereo DTS speakers and JellyBean 4.2 OS.
Liquid S1 has a 2,400 mAh battery, weighs 197 grams and its body size measures 163mm x 83mm x 9.5mm/
The Acer Liquid S1 phablet is now available in Taiwan for 12,900 TWD (about $430 USD), and it comes with some interesting features like Acer Float User Interface, which allows users to multi-task, Float Apps, Acer Auto Profile with predefined network settings for frequently visited locations, Voice Unlock feature for apps and interface, and Acer’s 2-way Live Screen app through which users can invite their friends for temporary group sharing, where the admin can easily share photos or notes with just a simple tap. Images or notes will then pop up on your friends handset screen, enabling live interaction in real time.
Recently, Acer also announced Acer Liquid Z3 an entry-level smartphone for the international market (Europe).
