It has been said that Sony i1 Honami will feature a 20.1 camera, which from all current and previous photos doesnt really seem to indicate to such camera. However we believe those rumours are true, but not accurate, because the 20.1 camera itself will not be included in the housing of the Honami, but rather as an attachment (accessory).
About a week ago we’ve learned that Sony is about to launch Sony SR5 lenses which will come with a built-in imaging sensor, own memory and battery, and most importantly it can be used as a stand alone camera or it can be attached to Sony Xperia smartphones, according to sources. It may be a long shot, but at this point it kind of makes sense to us.
Spec-wise, Sony i1 Honami could feature a Snapdragon 800 inside, 2GB of RAM, a 3,000 mAh battery and Android 4.2 JellyBean. Below you’ll find a new photo gallery with the unreleased smartphone, which might see the light of day as soon as IFA 2013, where Sony will hold a press event, on September 4th.
