There is a lot of buzz going on for the last 4 months about the next generation Google Nexus 7 tablet which apparently will be manufactured once more by Asustek. The rumor has it that it will come with a Full HD screen and at least a 5MP camera and of corse Android OS, likely Jellybean version 4.3.
While being enthusiastic about the next generation Google Nexus 7 tablet, a Googler went on trying its luck with an Asus employee during a live chat session asking about Asus K009 tablet (which is in fact the new Nexus 7 model number), and the employ was kind enough to divulge pretty much all the specs that the N7 will pack along with an estimated date of release.
According to Asus Live Chat support employ, the next generation Google Nexus 7 tablet will pack:
- 7-inch display, 1920 x 1080 screen
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 600/S4 Pro APQ8064 processor
- 2GB RAM
- 32GB internal storage (no microSD slot, obviously)
- 5 megapixel rear camera; 1.2 megapixel front camera
- Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC
- LTE connectivity
