UMEOX X5 is now officially the thinnest smartphone in the world

Thought Huawei Ascend P6 announced recently in London is the thinnest smartphone of them all? Well, think again, because over the weekend UMEOX (Chinese mobile maker) has announced that they are lunching UMEOX X5 an ultra, ultra-thin smartphone that measures a mere 5.8mm, and it is powered by Google’s Android operating system.

UMEOX X5 is now officially the worlds thinnest smartphone although it hasnt been released yet. X5 feature a 4 inch display, MediaTek quad-core processor,  Android 4.2.2 (JellyBean) and that’s pretty much all UMEOX wanted to unveil about its device the rest of the hardware are on pending.

No official date of release from the Chinese vendor, they just wanted the public to know that their phone is the slimmest right now. More on this topic as soon as UMEOX released new information.
