HTC Asia CEO Lennard Hoornik Quits, HTC Still Has Hard Times

HTC ONE HTC M7We are all aware of HTC’s situation, as it clearly has hard time making profit out of its devices. Unfortunately, things just got worse, as the CEO of HTC Asia, Lennard Hoornik left his job, following the act of HTC’s chief product officer, Kouji Kodera, who parted ways with the company a week ago.

Lennard Hoornik is currently replaced with CFO Chang Chia Lin, while the company seeks for a permanent placeholder of the position.

At this point it is unclear whether these execs are jumping out of the boat to avoid an imminent iceberg impact or whether the Taiwan-based mobile maker is restructuring its staff trying to bring fresh blood within the group in order to dodge somehow a possible catastrophic event.

  1. The remaining HTC management that aren’t hitting the pipe realize the iceberg is unavoidable and are jumping ship. Good riddance, HTC.
