HTC Employee Tweets About Google Experience Galaxy S4, Is HTC One Google Edition a Possibility?

Share article:

AndroidJellyBeanLogoThe most striking announcement at Google I/O 2013 so far was the one concerning the Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition. Merely an hour after that, a HTC employee didn’t hesitate to write her opinion about that on her twitter profile:

This tweet is obviously hinting at something, like an HTC One with Google Experience, or perhaps, an Android AOSP project for the popular smartphone, much like the AOSP project for the Xperia Z and Xperia S. Nothing is official yet, so we can only speculate about it, but we are quite sure an employee of HTC wouldn’t just post a tweet like that without evidence that supports it. However, we will find out sooner or later.

Pretty low grade thing to tweet. EVERY phone HTC made was plastic. They release one metal phone and now they are on a soapbox.

actually they arent, Google just gave them a slap in the face by announcing Galaxy S4 with Nexus experience and unlocked bootloader. :)

      Really huge surprise

Really is man. Thing is, the nexus experience is pretty bland compared to the proprietary builds now. Why would anyone really want AOSP? Touchwiz has many useful things I use daily. Sense and Touchwiz aren’t that bloating or sloppy anymore. I don’t see the need for a Nexus GS4. The Unlocked bootloader though! That’s a different story!
