ASUS has released a new product, the Transformer AiO, which is meant to be the consumers’ source for an all in one AIO desktop, remote desktop, and android tablet device.
The AIO desktop mode features a 3rd generation Intel Core processor and powerful discrete NVIDIA GeForce graphics, to enable users to launch demanding applications. 1080p HD video is also another feature of the device, as well as the ASUS SonicMaster audio technology, to allow users to experience a good-quality, engaging experience with their movies, music, or any other type of video. The Transformer AiO even allows users to connect to an external display on Windows 8, while simultaneously using the tablet on Android.
Some other features of the desktop mode are the 4 USB 3.0 ports for 10x faster transfer rates and 50% increased device charging, 1TB hard drive and 3 years of free 32GB of ASUS WebStorage. The user’s preferred angle of the desktop can also be tilted from anywhere between 0° to 30°.
The Transformer AiO also has a handle on the back of the screen, which allows for the user to easily carry the device and take advantage of its remote desktop mode. A built-in stand has also been incorporated into the device, to allow for comfortable tabletop use.
As for the android tablet mode, the transformer AiO currently holds the spot for the world’s largest android tablet display, with 18.4 inches of HD. The device offers a 10-point touch system, making every finger useful during app activity. Ultra-wide viewing angles also allow the user to view the device anywhere up to a 178-degree wide viewing angle, to ensure objects don’t appear distorted.
Overall the device offers 3 new ways to use a Transformer AiO in a home setting. More information can be found on the ASUS Transformer AiO website.
