The other day chinese mobile maker ZTE has announced through an official press release that their newest Android device — ZTE Grand Memo feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 with 2GB of RAM which made it instantly a world premiere in the mobile industry.
Intrigued by the announcement a lot of bloggers went to check the 5.7 inch “marvel,” which apparently it doesn’t sport such a CPU, in fact it’s not even a Snapdragon 600 as some publications received word, but rather the Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset with 1GB of RAM (not 2GB as the press release states).
What’s even worse for ZTE is that they didn’t bother to correct the press release on their website, see for yourself. We are waiting for an official statement from ZTE in the following 24 to 48 hours. Stay tuned!
