The Motorola X Phone is certainly not a new name in the rumor mill, as it has leaked several times so far. More information about the mysterious Motorola smartphone has been gathering on the Internet the past days, touting it as the “game changer” courtesy of its unique software features.
“A real breakthrough, a game changer that will put pressure on Samsung and Apple,” describes Hugh Bradlow, the Australian carrier’s chief technology officer, the device. And as our source SmartHouse explains, the device will impress more with its software side, rather than with its hardware:
“Google has been working on this device for a long time. It has software features and capabilities that are not available on a Samsung Galaxy smartphone or Apple iPhone. The software is really powerful and it pulls together Google services like no other manufacturer has done in the past.”
Other rumors have also surfaced, suggesting some of the specs of the Motorola X Phone. It should feature a 4,8-inch display, stock Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, microSD card slot and up to 128GB internal storage. It should feature a Sony Exmor camera sensor.
The device should be announced on May at Google I/O 2013. Its launch should follow in June.
