Jelly Bean 4.1.2 update for the Galaxy SII rolling out

Older flagship devices may sometimes be left in the dark when it comes to major Android updates however Samsung is taking a leap further on to deliver the latest goodies to their faithful Galaxy SII users. The long awaited update Jelly Bean 4.1 is now being hitting Spain and will be available shortly in other countries.

The XWLS8 firmware was compiled on January 14th 2013 and sports all the features bundled in the previously leaked firmware. As usual users can already download & flash the new firmware with Odin at their own risks. Additionally an XDA thread is up and active concerning the updates, users should check in for any bugs or additional information.

The firmware also addresses the Exynos kernel flaw as well as the brick bug which plagued several Samsung devices few months earlier.
