Google I/O 2013 may be four months ahead, but we have just started receiving rumors for things we will see at the event. Particularly, we have information about a Motorola X smartphone that may make an appearance at this year’s Google I/O, and the word comes from Droid Forums.
The Motorola X is supposed to feature a 5-inch edge-to-edge display, and run on Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, which is also to be announced at the same event. It won’t be a Nexus device, but a pure example of Google‘s tight connection with Motorola, as now it’s its owner. It will also be a cross-carrier device, which translated means that Verizon won’t have an exclusive offer of the Motorola X.
As for the credibility of the rumor, the source suggests to take it with a grain of salt, as there’s no trusted evidence that supports it yet. However, we will continue to dig info about this story and brighten it up. If anything, you can count on a full Google I/O 2013 coverage by PocketDroid.
