Koush, the creator of ClockworkMod Recovery and Rom Manager has been working on an app backup app. But this one is different from the rest, as in the future it will require no root! As this is work in progress, the current version does require root.

The app is currently in beta and available for testing.  It has a pretty straight forward and easy to use UI. On the first boot it will ask you to connect Dropbox or Google Drive to send your backups there, after that it will ask you for root permissions. It’s really easy to use. Tap the checkbox next to the app to select it for backup, and then press backup. The app will prompt you to save the backups to your sd card, Google Drive or Dropbox. The restore window also has the option sd card, Google Drive and Dropbox, tap the one where you stored your backups, checkt the apps you want to restore and hit the restore button. Backup and restoring works fine, but the app has bugs.
