According to the latest sources, ZTE is to launch two large phones. On December 26, Chinese manufacturer announced the ZTE Nubia Z5, a 5 inch high-end device running Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean. Other hardware specs are: a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro Quad Core processor, Bluetooth 4.0, a 13MP rear camera, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a 3,000mAh battery. The design of this device is that of a rounded square, similar to the design we know from other manufacturers.
Today new details about ZTE Grand S emerged. This should be the world’s thinnest phone, measuring only 6.9mm at the thinnest point. Most obvious is the design. The collage shows some details of the design, more over, it shows some beautiful design sketches showing the design inspiration found in architecture. This design is far more inspired than the custom design of the Nubia Z5. According to the source the hardware specs will be similar to the Nubia Z5 though. The price of the Grande S will be relatively low at an estimated $449. More news is to be expected soon, at the CES 2013.
