Acer keeps trying to survive in a mobile industry where Samsung and Apple thrives. In 2012 they launched CloubMobile S500, an Android smartphone recently reviewed by our colleague Marnix Bassie. Today a new unreleased Android device from Acer has leaked on GLBenchmark website, along with some details about its specs.
Acer B1-A71 is a Jellybean 4.1.2 device (probably a tablet), featuring a 1,2GHz dual-core processor, PowerVR SGX531 GPU and 1024x600p screen resolution. The benchmark scores are low, but that’s what you can expect from a low-end tablet. The screen size is unknown, however is highly likely that it is 7 incher.
Hopefully Acer will shed some light on this device soon. The holidays are coming, and we’re sure there will be some buyers looking for a tablet that won’t break the bank.
