Toshiba has debuted a refreshment of its Toshiba AT300 tablet, called simply – the AT300SE (SE stands for ‘second edition’ presumably). It’s on the lower-cost side, priced at 299 UK Pounds, it won’t break any price records, which is a good thing of course. It comes pre-loaded with Android Jellybean, which is a step up from its predecessor. Apart from that, the specs are more-less the same. The processor found inside is NVIDIA Tegra 3, probably clocked at 1,3GHz. It packs a 10,1 inch IPS LCD display with resolution of 1280×800 pixels and 1GB RAM. The storage capacity starts with 16GB that can be further expanded thanks to the microSD card slot found on the tablet. The slate has a 3MP back camera and 1,2MP front one. The device weighs 625g, which is right for its size, measuring at 261x180x10.5mm.
The Toshiba AT300SE will launch in Q4 2012, and we’re yet to see pricing and worldwide availability details.
