HTC EVO 4G LTE which is Sprint‘s HTC One X with a slightly different design and an LTE-supported SoC could get updated to Android 4.1.1 as of today, according to an alleged document screenshot leak shared on Android Central forums.
The screenshot refers to a firmware build 3.15.651.11 which supposedly will bring JellyBean flavour to EVO smartphones. Furthermore it points to November 15 as the day the software update starts rolling out towards customers.
We can not confirm if this is real or not, however it makes sense for HTC and Sprint to upgrade Evo 4G LTE to Jellybean since it’s the equivalent of HTC One X. As always treat rumors as they are, but be sure that we will confirm or infirm it once we hear something from any of the officials at Sprint or HTC.
