Official Galaxy SII Jelly Bean ROM leaked

Yes it’s here folks, an official Samsung Jelly Bean (4.1.2) ROM was recently leaked by xda member izap. As promised Samsung did deliver the full new Touchwiz UX interface which is already found on its major flagship devices like the Galaxy SIII and Galaxy Note 2. The rom brings several improvements along with the fully fledged butter experience offered by Android Jelly Bean.

The problem with Android updates is that the process was so staggered, leading to consumers getting angry at the length of time it takes them to receive the next generation of software but Samsung once again took a step further to curb the problem by finally providing Galaxy SII with a functional Android 4.1.2 build. The leaked XXLS6 ROM features the LSJ PDA and is specifically made for the LS6 (GSM version) modem version and has the ‘LS1 Open version’ though users can manually flash another CSC file.

We’ve got no clue about the official release but it shall roll out via KIES or OTA in the coming weeks if Samsung keeps their schedule.

Users can already download & flash the rom with Odin (links available at XDA Forums)
