At CEATEC in early October NEC showed off what they claim to be the world’s thinnest and lightest Android tablet today, packing quite some interesting hardware specifications especially because it will cost around $190.
Folks at ePrice in Taiwan got their hands-on a unit for testing purposes. The benchmark tests they did on the tablet show pretty high-scores for a budget-friendly device. As u can see in the screenshots below, NEC N-08D beats HTC One X smartphone powered by Nvidia’s quad core Tegra 3 chipset.
NEC N-08D packs a 7 inch (1280×800) display, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, 8MP camera on the back, 2MP camera in front, 3100 mAh battery and it runs on Android 4.o ICS OS.
