Sharp isn’t the manufacturer we’re most used to see with new Android smartphones, but it certainly is there. Once in a while Sharp likes to show off a new smartphone of its own, and now its new product is Sharp SH631W, a low-end dual-core smartphone. It packs a 4,5 inch qHD display, 1GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6577 processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB storage and a microSD card slot, 8MP rear-facing camera plus a VGA front one. The phone comes loaded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with a custom user-interface Feel UX, which should be very user-friendly.
The phone is expected to be launched in Taiwan this month, but we don’t know anything about availability in the rest of the world. We expect it to be priced very reasonably, as it’s a pretty low-end dual-core smartphone.
