Today, on the Sony Thank Festival in Hong Kong, Sony has announced the launch of the Xperia XT LT29i. The Xperia XT will be launched on October 8 in three different colors: pink, black and white. The price of this Hong Kong version is set on HK$ 4698 (approx. $510 / €424).
The XT is the device we know as the Xperia T. So, it has the curved Arc design with a 4.6 inch 720×1280 HD Bravia screen. It’s powered by the 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Krait MSM 8260A dual-core 1.5GHz processor, has 16GB build-in memory, a Micro SD slot supporting up to 32GB and the 13MP Exmor R sensor rear camera. It will come with Android 4 ICS. An update to Jelly Bean is to be expected later this year.
Photos show a micro USB interface to support the MHL output of HDMI and USB OTG function. USB ‘On The Go’ means you can use this phone as a host allowing other USB devices like a flash drive or keyboard (if you want), besides the normal flash drive function of the phone itself when plugged to a computer.
Now we wait for the worldwide release, so we might get our hands on it soon.
