It appears that Samsung is internally testing its Exynos 5 Dual platform. The test device known as the “Samsung TE4″ was eyed on Rightware results and it comes with impressive specs under the hood, the latter is based on the Cortex-A15 core design implementation with various goodies notably the new Mali-T604 GPU which would literally blow out the competition. The Exynos 5 Dual platform itself features a dual core A15 processor clocked at 1.7GHz but we might see a quad core implementation earlier next year given the current pace of development.
But once again, the rumor mill has come up with a brand new rumor, according to some folks that device may indeed be the next Galaxy S, dubbed as the Galaxy S4. That sounds a bit crazy for the time being but the fact that Samsung is experimenting with A15 based processor gives us a slight glimpse of what to expect in 2013. A possible new flagship device accompanied with midrange devices all featuring Cortex-A15 processors.
