We’ve made it clear yesterday that the Huawei Ascend G600 will arrive in September, but there’s one more device that will make its debut the same month, and that’s Huawei’s latest and greatest tablet, the MediaPad 10 FHD. It was announced way back in February and is currently available in China only, but we are glad to hear that it will also make a global appearance.
The MediaPad 10 FHD is a high-end tablet, which has a 10.1 inch screen of Full HD resolution, 1920 x 1200 pixels to be exact. The display is an IPS LCD unit, which promises to offer great contrast and sharp details. On the back, we found an 8 mp shooter capable of recording Full HD videos. There’s also the 1.3 mp front-facing camera. The Dolby 5.1 Digital Surround sound promises high quality audio experience. And, let’s not forget the body of the tablet itself, which is made of brushed aluminum and should be pretty solid.
On the inside, there’s a Quad-Core HiSilicon processor running at 1.4 GHz, which is supposed to take care of even the most demanding everyday tasks. There are 2GB of RAM, which will make multitasking a piece of cake. And, there’s the battery whose capacity is not mentioned, but Huawei themselves claim that it will last at least 10 hours before it needs to charge.
The tablet runs on Android 4.0, which is a common choice of Huawei nowadays. There’s also the dock, which gives you a full-sized QWERTY keyboard and offers USB ports, HDMI out, VGA out and, of course, more battery life.
The Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD will come in two versions, Wi-Fi and 3G/4G LTE. The pricing is still unknown, but we assume it won’t be long before everyone finds out about it.
