LG Mobile says Android 4.0 for Optimus 2X, Optimus 3D & Optimus 3D Max arrives starting September

It can not get more official than this! LG Mobile says Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich software update arrives to LG Optimus 2X smartphobe customers in Korea next month.

According to a statement given by LG Mobile to Korean NewsTomato agency, Android 4.0 ICS firmware upgrade consisted of a 536MB file size is almost ready for September rollout. Besides Optimus 2X being upgraded to ICS, Optimus 3D and Optimus 3D Max (Cube) will follow in line next.

Android 4.0 software update is almost fully deployed onto Optimus LTE Tag and LG Prada 3.0 phones, while for LG Optimus VU and Optimus LTE has just started in Korea.

LG Mobile hasn’t spoken a word to when the upgrade will be available globally for the above mentioned smartphones, however we are optimistic that a world-wide spread is coming in the next couple of months. Make sure to follow Pocketdroid for upcoming reports on this subject.

      yes optimus black too, we havent added Black on the list because at the time when we wrote the post our sources hasnt said a word about that one, however it looks like optimus black is on that list as well.
