Low-Cost Jellybean Tablet Announced by MIPS

Share article:

Some time ago, we informed you about the promised Jellybean update that will arrive on all MIPS tablets. That’s only half of the story MIPS has begun speaking about. Apparently, MIPS announced a new Jellybean powered tablet which will be worth only 125 bucks! The tablet will be produced by MIPS‘ Chinese partner Ingenic and will carry the name Karbonn Smart Tab 1. This will officially be the world’s cheapest tablet running jellybean, but wait and see the specs before calling this piece of technology a bargain: It has a 7 inch display, 1.2 Ghz Ingenic JZ4770 processor, 2MP front-facing camera, 1GB of storage, expandable to 32GB and, last but not least, a 3700 mAh battery.
