Acer is one of the leading OEMs when it comes down to tablets. It has several tablets under its 2012 portfolio, including Iconia Tab A200, 510, 110 and 700. They are all running the second latest version of Android, dubbed Ice Cream Sandwich. With Jellybean rolling for a month now, it’s safe to guess manufacturers are starting (if not already) developing updates for their current devices. ASUS has already confirmed Jellybean software updates for three of its slates, and it’s Acer’s turn now to speak about Jellybean on its Iconia tabs. The representatives haven’t stated anything, but that there will be Jellybean updates for some of their devices. Not so informative, but it’s better than nothing. It’s safe to assume that the latest crop of Iconia tablets is getting the Jellybean update. After all, we are talking about flagships right now, that have the right (and need) to run the best of Android at the time. As always, we’ll keep you informed on this story when we hear more.
