Samsung Galaxy S II LTE SC-03D receives a minor software in Japan

NTT Docomo pushes a software update today to Samsung GALAXY SII LTE (SC-03D model) which doesnt bring Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS to the smartphone but rather a minor upgrade. After the upgrade is installed the new firmware build is OMLG5 . The software update adds stability by fixing some bugs like the e-book content specific events error and a few others.

GALAXY S II LTE model is upgradeable via Samsung KIES software tool which you can get it from here and via OTA (over the air).

  1. Any idea why it is taking so long to allow an upgrade to ICS? I was under the impression that the upgrade to ICS, at least for the SC-03D, was due on July 18. Do you know anything about this? Cheers
