It’s Sunday, folks, and that means it’s time for our ‘infamous’ Week in Review @PocketDroid.

HTC released the ICS kernel sources for the EVO 3D. Here’s what we were talking about:

A few weeks earlier HTC began seeding ICSupdate to EVO 3D users, and as everybody knows, the manufacturer is obligated to release the kenel source they used in the updatein 9 weeks, in order to comply with the GPLHTC are known for releasing their sources on time, and they just proved that with the release of the ICS kernel sources for the HTCEVO3D (only GSM for now). Now developers are able to freely use their sources to build highly-functional ROMs and customized kernels for the EVO 3D. Get the source

Sony launched Xperia acro S in Taiwan. Here are some of our impressions:

I can image myself talking on a waterproof smartphone while relaxing in a warm bathtub filled with girls and bubbles. I know awesome, right? Yeah babby! Day dreamingwake up!

The Google Nexus One received unofficial Jellybean ROM. In our words:

At a point, the Nexus One got a highly-functional ICS ROM that proved its outdated hardware can handle the latest at the time Android 4.0 just well. And now, when Jellybean is rolling, it’s safe to assume that the developers will bring it to as many devices as possible, including the ‘oldies’ like the first Nexus phone. Somedevices already have Jellybean ROMs, some don’t, but the point of this article is that theNexus One has just got one too! Video included 

Samsung Nexus S received official Jellybean OTA update world-wide. Here’s a cut from the article:

Google promised that by mid-July GALAXY Nexus, Nexus S and Motorola Xoom will see an upgrade to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean the latest OS.

So far everything is on schedule, GALAXY Nexus GSM variants already received its upgrade, the Nexus S (I9023) firmware upgrade build JRO03E is deploying right now,apparently world-wide. We received users confirmation even from Eastern Europe and there’s one more device to go the Motorola XOOM, which we expect to receive the same treatment by the end of this month. Full article
