Samsung presented its first ever Android smartphone named GALAXY Beam that features a video projector, back in February at the Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona, Spain. The innovative gadget designed by Samsung Electronics is available across the globe in select markets.
Galaxy Beam or Samsung GT-I8530 smartphone is equipped with a dual-core NOVAThor U8500 processor, features a 4-inch WVGA touch display and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. Built into a 12.5mm thick body, the DLP Pico projector offers the posibility to easily project videos on the go anytime, anywhere.
Galaxy Beam received its first OTA (over the air) software update a couple of weeks ago and it seems its now available in the United Kingdom via retailers. At Clove UK, Samsung GT-I8530 costs £426, at Expansys UK it available at a cheaper price only £390, while at CarPhone Warehouse you can obtain in for free on a £31 monthly plan.
