Google I/O 2012 is less than 25 days away as always the annual developer conference is scheduled for 27 – 29 2012 at Moscone Center, San Francisco. For those who do not know what Google I/O is, well it is an annual developer-based conference held by Google Inc in San Francisco, California since 2008. The conference features highly technical, in-depth sessions focused on building web, mobile, and enterprise applications with Google and open web technologies such as Android, Chrome, Chrome OS, Google APIs, Google Web Toolkit,App Engine, and more.

The I/O stands for input/output, and “Innovation in the Open”*. The format of the event is pretty much similar to Google Developer Day.

Last year Google awarded 1500 attendees with a Samsung GALAXY TAb Google I/O special edition, this year according to the latest rumors Google will giveaway GALAXY Nexus Android tablets to developers who will participate in the event.
