NVIDIA’s Mobile Business Manager Mike Rayfield speaking at the NVIDIA’s annual Analyst said that the company are looking at a release of 28 more Tegra 3 smartphones in 2012. NVIDIA had 15 dual-core Tegra 2 devices in 2011 but Tegra 3 looks to double that number this year by releasing 28 more smartphones excluding the HTC One X and Optimus 4X HD. A total 30 smartphones will run the Tegra 3 processor shows that NVIDIA has its eyes not just on the Android platform but a wide range of smartphones. The NVIDIA Kai tablet priced at $200 ensures that we can expect cheap, powerful phones and tablets from NVIDIA in the future.
