French carrier SFR has update its Android software update timeline this week announcing which upgrades are already available and which are yet to come before July.

Right now Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich firmware upgrades are rolling out to HTC Sensation and HTC One X over the air (FOTA), Samsung GALAXY SII update via KIES only, GALAXY Nexus and Nexus S over the air (FOTA).

Another interesting bit of information is the software update in the form of a “Value pack,” for GALAXY S (I9000) which up until now we knew little because nobody offered any details. Looks like Europeans (French customers) will be among the first users to enjoy this value pack which includes the Face unlock recognition although it will be with Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread. The update will be available only through Samsung Kies software in mid-May.

SFR timeline also details about Android 4.0 ICS firmware upgrade for Sony Xperia handsets. According to the document published by the French carrier Sony Xperia S is the first to receive ICS OS in early June via FOTA ETPC Companion, followed by Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, Arc, Ray and Mini Pro mid-June through PC-Companion.
