Droid Fighter is the codename used by Verizon Wireless for an upcoming new Motorola HD device dubbed MT887 for Chinese market. We’ve already seen a first real image of the phone and we also know that Droid Fighter is the same thing with Droid RAZR HD name leaked in a several images shared on Picasa by one of Motorola’s engineers over a week ago.
Motorola MT887 leaked four days ago in a couple of press renders on China’s Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center website.
Motorola Droid RAZR HD aka Droid Fighter or by the model number MT889 for the Chinese Telecom network will feature a large 4.6-inch 720p HD display wrapped up in a body made of Kevlar material. It is powered by Texas Instruments 1.2GHz dual-core OMAP 4430 processor with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of ROM (internal memory), runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
According to our leak source there will be 2 variants of Droid RAZR HD (upgraded RAZR MAXX models) headed to China Telecom network: MT887 (in the center of the photo above) and MT889 (on the left – photo top).
