Deutsche Telekom customers (Germany) owning a Samsung GALAXY S II reportedly receiving the Ice Cream Sandwich firmware upgrade to Android 4.0.3. The update is not available for unlocked version though.

Another interesting aspect is the kernel version which says its 3.0 Dell, weird eh? If the news didn’t came from a pretty trusted source, I would had my suspicions but I don’t.

The update is available via PC (no word about an over the air – OTA update) through Samsung GRAVEL Once connected you will be notified to install the latest software available. The unlocked version of the GALAXY S II is rumored to receive an ICS update on Thursday, April 19th.

Update: Samsung Nederland also announces Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich firmware upgrade for the GALAXY S II I9100 XEN which is pushing out now. The update is available via KIES software.
