As promised to Australian customers, Telstra is rolling out as we speak an over the air (FOTA) software update which brings Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich to their first 4G smartphone – HTC Velocity 4G.

Besides upgrading your firmware to the latest version of Android 4.0, the update also offers HTC Sense UI 3.6 (a lite version of Sense UI 4.0 for devices that can not handle v4.0).

If you’re wondering about HTC Sensation firmware upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich we have no intel about that but we are positive that it could start rolling out soon as it is already pushing out in Europe to HTC Sensation and Sensation XE.

Let us know through a comment down below if you managed to download and install ICS OS on your  HTC Velocity 4G handset or if you encounter any problems we are here to help.
