HTC’s first forthcoming Quad-core handset which will feature at the international MWC 2012 already saw a name change not long ago from Edge to Endeavor/Supreme.

According to PocketNow’s source HTC Endeavor will see another name change before the annual MWC 2012 to — HTC One X, while dual-core HTC Ville might use the Supreme nickname. A HTC Danish subcontractor has already reserved the htc-one-x.dk (Denmark), probably for use as a future microsite.

HTC Endeavor or One X should feature a 4.65″ qHD 720p display, a quad-core Tegra 3 processor, an 8MP rear-facing camera and HTC Sense UI on top of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS confirmed by a recently leaked Endeavor signed European ROM.

Update: We’ve just been informed via Slashgear that HTC Ville is also enjoying a name change to HTC One S and it will feature a smaller screen  4.3 qHD display and a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor.
