Bell brought the Galaxy Nexus to Canada in December last year at an affordable price ($160) with a three-years contract agreement. Customers who bought it are now receiving an over the air (FOTA) software update which brings the device to Android version 4.0.2 Ice Cream Sandwich.
An Android version 4.0.4 has been unofficially available for a while now in the US for CDMA Verizon Galaxy Nexus phones; recently we’ve learned about an Android version 4.0.5 in Europe announced by French carrier SFR which is due to arrive OTA by the end of next month (March).
If you’re on Bell and you havent received an update notification yet, try a manually check for an update. Good luck!
