What do we have here, looks like Samsung prepares a followup of the Galaxy Mini S5570 which although it is a mini Android handset the phone had quite a success.
According to this leaked render received by GSMArena from an anonymous source, in the image above is the Galaxy Mini 2 or Jena (S6500). The render also reveals a timeframe (February 2012) which makes us think if Samsung has it ready for the MWC 2012 or will they launch it sooner than that.
In terms of hardware specs Galaxy Mini 2 sees a little boost, it sports a bigger screen 3.3-inch with a higher resolution (HVGA), and a faster processor clocked at 800MHz plus 3GB of built-in storage. The mini 2 S6500 apparently runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread keeping the 3MP camera and 7.2Mbps HSDPA connectivity from the original.
No details about its price but we are certain it will be an affordable device, somewhere close to the first version.
