In less than a week we found out pretty much everything there is to know about Samsung Galaxy S Advance (GT-I9070). The phone got leaked in a mute video on Youtube on Sunday, January 29th. The day after that, Monday morning January 30, Samsung officially announced the phone set to make a debut at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain at the end of this month.
We are not certain which countries will get it first because in the press-release Samsung said that Russia will be the first country to launch it and gradually from there all over the world. Apparently it wont be like that, at least that is what folks at TechPinas claim and I incline to believe them because they’ve been showing it of in a hands-on video footage along with some screenshots.
“Since the Philippines is getting Samsung Galaxy S Advance GT-I9070 ahead of Europe and even the United States, I figured I might as well share more in-the-flesh photos and post a quick hands-on video of the gorgeous handset.”
As you can see in the image above the smartphone has a curved display like the Galaxy Nexus. TechPinas also adds a few more specifications to the Galaxy S Advance that we weren’t aware of like the 8 GB of internal memory storage (ROM), the ARM Cortex-A9 U8500 chipset 1GHz dual-core processor and of corse its price. The phone will be available in Philippines at any authorized Samsung retailers nationwide for Php 22,990 (about $535).
