Samsung Galaxy S II Plus benchmark results in the wild?

Samsung is definitely a brand to watch at the annual Mobile World Congress 2012 next month specially if we think about the latest “rivers” of rumors that flows wildly on the net.

Its been what 24 hours since we heard for the first time about a new Samsung handset, the Galaxy S II Plus and now we get more news about some benchmark results.

If we take this leak for granted according to An3DBenchXL’s benchmark database the specs (1.5GHz dual-core processor, 800 x 480p resolution and Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread OS) are pretty disappointing for a second generation Galaxy S II dubbed Plus. Honestly I was expecting Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, maybe a Quad-core CPU  and at least 1280 x 720p resolution like the Galaxy Nexus.
