Chinese handhelds manufacturer, Lenovo announced in late November last year two brand new “Music Pads,” the 7-inch PadS2007A and the 10.1-inch PadS2010A.
Last night in Vegas Lenovo introduced to the public present at CES2012 a new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablet — IdeaTab S2. The new tab sports a 10.1-inch capacitive IPS touch screen with 1280x800p resolution and runs on Qualcomm’s 1.5GHz dual-core Krait chipset, 1GB RAM, dual cameras a 5-megapixel camera on the back and 1.3-megapixel camera in front.
IdeaTab S2 comes in three built-in memory storage variants (16Gb up to 64Gb), weighs only 576grams at 8.7 millimeters thick. The tab comes with an optional docking station which expands its autonomy up to 20 hours of battery life (10 hours without).
For now IdeaTab S2 is China exclusive, a worldwide release is in Lenovo plans, but at a later date. Pricing details were unavailable.
