In a recent benchmark listing on AnTuTu’s website, test result details reveal a possibly new Toshiba Android tablet dubbed Tostab06. Although we do not know much about this device some rushed to speculate that it might be powered by Nvidia’s latest Quad-core Tegra 3 chipset.
Taking a closer look at the rankings at the bottom of Antutu’s results, Testab06 beats Acer Iconia Tab A700, which according to recent rumors sports a Quad-core CPU, while the first Quad-core Android tablet Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime TF201 is on top of the list ranked from 1st to 5th place, which leads us to belive media speculations.
The results also show a processor clocked at 1.4GHz frequency on Testab06, and we already know that previous Toshiba models are dubbed as follows:
– the 10.1 inch Toshiba AT100 (known as AT300 in Japan) is “Tostab03”,
– the 7-inch Toshiba AT1S0 (known as AT3S0 in Japan) is “Tostab04”,
– the 10.1 inch Toshiba AT200 (known as AT700 in Japan) is “Tostab05”
We might see Testab06 making its debut early next year at CES 2012 expo.
