  1. I got the Ice Cream Sandwich update yesterday. It took a lot longer to download than any previous update but considering I am on a 2g network I wouldn’t say it was an extremely long time.

My phone is entirely different and now very blue, I find it much crisper and easier to see. Several icons have changed and the appearance of most of the installed items like the contacts, calendar, and settings is entirely different. Unlocking the phone is now more like my Asus Transformer, only now if you drag to the right you unlock the entire phone if you drag to the left you have quick access to the camera. If someone is calling while the phone is locked you have 3 options, up to text, right to answer, left to ignore.

There are far too many new features for me to cover them all here so I’ll sum up by saying I like the new functionality, and better organization of the ICS update. All in all it’s like I just got a whole new phone.

  2. More people reporting to receive their Android 4.0.3 ICS upgrade from Google; in Asia (India) and in Eastern Europe (Romania) over the air (OTA) anywhere else?

That’s nice to hear, lets hope no major bugs like that volume bug found in 4.0.1!@serenity
