HTC Runnymede 4.7″ display 1Ghz single-core CPU, Android 2.3 press image surface for the first time

hichong HTC Runnymede 4.7

HTC Runnymede smartphone first press render surface unveiling a beautiful curved chassis. Despite its weird name, Runnymede is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread and it features a extra-large 4.7 inch display with  WVGA 800×480p resolution display, a 1.5GHz single-core processor, 768MB of RAM and 16GB/32GB internal memory storage.

This HTC device is pretty similar to the recently announced HTC Titan with Windows Phone 7 as operating system. Runnymede will have Dr Dre’s Beats Audio technology integrated. No word over a release date or any pricing details but we could hear more at the upcoming event held in NYC on September 20th by the Taiwanese handset maker.

Thanks for this tip Huang!!
