Fact! We’ve got word from Sammy Hub of a second generation Samsung Galaxy S II with upgraded specifications.
So far nothing out of the ordinary, but if we dig deeper we notice that almost everyone assigned model number GT-I9250 to the upcoming Nexus Prime, which doesn’t really match the screen size (4.65″ with 4.5″). GT-I9250 model number is non other than the next generation of Galaxy S2 which will showcase at the IFA 2011 expo event, held in Berlin. There you go, mystery solved!!
Now back to the SGS2 LTE, which will come with a slightly revamped design (the back cover which protects the battery looks like it has a brushed metal finish compared to the original Galaxy S II’s textured), but most importantly will get an upgrade on the hardware side. Touted as the world’s first LTE/WCDMA/GSM multi-mode smartphone. Galaxy SII will come with a big 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus display (GT-I9250), a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, a 8MP rear-facing camera with flash LED, NFC (near field communication), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a 1850 mAh battery.
