According to an article from the Daily Telegraph, Apple sued Samsung for patent infrigement and won in a court back in Dusseldorf, Germany.

The court ruled that the Galaxy Tab 10.1 has to be withdrawn from shelves in all European countries inside EU (27 countries), the only exception being the Netherlands. Samsung Electronics can appeal on this decision, but until then the tablet will remains banned.

It’s no coincidence that Samsung’s latest products look a lot like the iPhone and iPad, from the shape of the hardware to the user interface and even the packaging. This kind of blatant copying is wrong, and we need to protect Apple’s intellectual property when companies steal our ideas.” an Apple spokesman for the Daily Telegraph.
