Google and Asus unveiled last month at Google I/O 2012 the worlds cheapest quad-core tablet ever built and the worlds first device to run the Android version 4.1 Jelly Bean – the Nexus 7.
While pre-orders for Google Nexus 7 have begun in the US and shipping is about to start soon, in Europe information about the Nexus 7 is still a bit foggy. However, Asus Italy went ahead announcing via its official Facebook page that the tablet will arrive in early September at a MSRP of €249 (taxes included) via traditional channels.
For the above price italian customers will get the 16GB version of the Google Nexus 7 made by Asus. Asus Italy also says that it wont market the 8GB model in the country, however customers might be able to order it via Google Play store.
